About the event

The A-WAY Retreat is a space to recharge your mind, body, and spirit, and reconnect with the joy of living. Over this immersive weekend, you’ll flow through grounding yoga practices, breathwork, meditation, creative workshops, and soulful time in nature, but just as importantly, you’ll laugh, connect, and share meaningful experiences with a beautiful community of like-hearted people.

This retreat is about more than slowing down; it's about coming alive again, finding your center and rediscovering the playful, curious parts of yourself that thrive through connection, creativity, and adventure.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, stronger, inspired, and deeply nourished by the memories, friendships, and experiences you create along the way.

Whether you're seeking rest, clarity, new energy, or just a joyful reset, the A-WAY Retreat is your invitation to step away, and come back to yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How many people will be at the retreat?

We keep our retreats small and intimate, with a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 8. This size ensures a cozy, connected experience, allowing us to create meaningful connections and maintain a sense of community.

2. Where is the retreat located?

Our retreat takes place at a beautiful, secluded cottage in Beaverton, about 2.5 hours from Toronto. It's the perfect setting to disconnect from daily life and reconnect with nature. (The detailed address and directions will be shared after registration.)

3. What about the food?

We take great care to provide delicious, nourishing vegetarian meals and snacks. Before the retreat, we’ll send a survey to gather information about any dietary restrictions or allergies, and our menu will be adjusted to meet your needs. Your well-being is our top priority!

4. Do I need experience with yoga, meditation, or breathwork?

Not at all! Our retreat is designed to be welcoming for all levels—whether it’s your first time or you’ve been practicing for years. We’ll guide you through every session, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.

5. What other activities will we do?

In addition to daily yoga, meditation, and breathwork, we offer a range of mindful and creative experiences to help you relax, reflect, and connect—with yourself, nature, and others.

You’ll also have access to the hot tub, a cozy fireplace, canoes, paddleboards, kayaks, a pool table, and a gorgeous waterfront view perfect for quiet reflection or journaling.

We always tune into the energy of the group and go with the flow—nothing is ever mandatory. This is your time to slow down, recharge, and enjoy however feels most nourishing to you.

6. Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Many of our guests come solo, and it’s a beautiful way to meet like-minded people in a supportive and welcoming environment. You’ll feel part of the community right away.

7. Can I book a retreat for just my group?

Yes! If you’re part of a group of at least 4 people, we’d be thrilled to host a private retreat just for you. We can tailor the retreat to meet your group’s specific preferences, from the location and schedule to the meals and activities. Let us know your requirements, and we’ll coordinate the perfect getaway for your group.
